Pictured below is a cute baby and an excersauce. The former should need no further explanation; the latter can best be described and a walker that you can't go anywhere in, like down the stairs, into the cactus, skateboarding parks...it's safer.
The word Exersaucer comes from two english root words:
Exer(cise) - refering to the fact that baby can bounce up and down thanks to 3 spring loaded columns that hold the seat and toy tray up and
Saucer - refering to the concave (or convex, depending on which way you look at it) bottom which allows baby to rock back and forth in a stimulating, yet safe, manner.
And finally, 3 Observations:
1) When babies are 4 months old, you can shop for presents right in front of them and they have no clue.
2) while not entirely visible in this picture, this contraption is not only safe, but anchors more toys than i had in my entire childhood.
3) Auto-focus can't always be trusted...either that or you forgot to put your contacts in......kind of makes you wonder, doesn't it?
